Samurai Edge at the 2026 Pan Pacific IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship
Melbourne is set to welcome some of the best Jiu Jitsu athletes from Australia and around the world for the 2026 Pan Pacific IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
Taking place in October at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, the Pan Pacific is one of the major events on the Australian Jiu Jitsu calendar. The 2026 championship includes Gi, No-Gi and Kids competition, bringing together athletes across a wide range of belt, age and weight divisions.
For Samurai Edge, being part of this event represents another important step in our journey as an Australian-based BJJ brand.
Built Around Competition
Competition is at the heart of Jiu Jitsu.
Months of training, countless rounds, early mornings and sacrifices all lead to moments like these — stepping onto the mats and testing yourself against another athlete.
That is why competition gear matters.
At Samurai Edge, our focus is on creating BJJ gear designed for athletes who train hard and compete seriously, while keeping quality and accessibility at the centre of what we do.
Our competition range includes our IBJJF competition-legal Gi, designed with a clean and practical approach for athletes who want reliable gear on competition day.
Samurai Edge at the Pan Pacific
The Pan Pacific is an opportunity for Samurai Edge to get even closer to the Australian Jiu Jitsu community.
After being present at the Australian Jiu Jitsu Championship earlier in 2026, we are continuing to build relationships with athletes, coaches, academies and families who make up the BJJ community.
For us, attending major competitions isn't simply about selling products.
It's about being there.
Meeting athletes face-to-face. Hearing what they want from their gear. Supporting competitors on competition day. And continuing to build a brand that understands what happens on the mats.
The Pan Pacific brings together athletes from Australia and overseas, making Melbourne a meeting point for the wider Jiu Jitsu community. The championship has a long history of attracting international competitors and is conducted in conjunction with the IBJJF.
Supporting Athletes at Every Level
One of the things we love about Jiu Jitsu is that competition isn't limited to one type of athlete.
There are first-time competitors, experienced competitors, juniors, masters and elite athletes all sharing the same mats.
That's the community Samurai Edge wants to support.
Whether you're preparing for your first competition or chasing another championship medal, your journey matters.
Our goal is to provide gear that you can train in, compete in and rely on throughout that journey.
Melbourne. Jiu Jitsu. Community.
For Samurai Edge, the 2026 Pan Pacific Championship is another opportunity to be part of something bigger than a clothing brand.
We're proud to be an Australian-based brand and to have the opportunity to connect with the BJJ community at major events across the country.
From the training room to competition day, we're here to support the athletes, coaches and communities that continue to grow Australian Jiu Jitsu.
See you on the mats at the Pan Pacific 2026.
